Iko Uwais' career got smoother in Hollywood. After Mile 22, Iko is getting ready for a new series on Netflix called Wu Assassins.
In his first Hollywood television series, the husband of Audy Item collided acting with famous actor, Mark Dacascos. This proud news was uploaded directly by Iko Uwais to his personal Instagram account.
“Do you know what it will be like when the three of us collaborate? We destroyed the set, haha and kicked the buttocks, "Iko wrote in his photo caption.
In the photo, Iko looks ready with his silat stance. Not only posing with Mark Dacascos, there is another Wu Assassins star, Bryon Mann.
It turned out that acting with Mark Dacascos became Iko Uwais' big dream which has now come true. Director Gareth Evans, left his comments on the photo.
"I remember from the first day we worked together, you (Iko) always said that you wanted to fight Mr. Dacascos on a screen. This is more than just cool, not just seeing your dreams come true, but because this will be your own TV show, ”wrote Gareth Evans.
Audy Item agreed that her husband's dream had now come true. "Dreams do come true," he wrote in response to Evans' comment.
Gareth Evans himself is a director from England who is active in Indonesia. Merantau and The Raid are two of Evans' projects that have successfully catapulted a number of Indonesian actors to Hollywood.
